Meadow honey is primarily made from the nectar of clover, native gums, and wildflowers found in meadows. This honey has a mild, subtle flavor that appeals to people of all ages. Blue Hills honey is of high quality. They have consistently won multiple Gold | Silver | Bronze Awards for their honey. Note: Blue Hills honey is extracted using a traditional, cold extraction method. This is done to preserve the honey's delicate flavors, aromas, and natural properties. Because the honey has not been heated or finely filtered, it granulates (crystallizes, or "candies"). Pure, wild honey will granulate over time but will never spoil. Granulated honey can be gently re-liquidized by placing the glass jar in a pot of hot but not boiling water or a lukewarm oven under 45 degrees Celsius.
