In 2004, after moving to Cornwall, Tony Fraser discovered that there had once been an Iron Age Salt Works near Porthkerris on the Lizard Peninsula, and went exploring around the coasts where he found pots of clay shards that the Cornish have been used to boil water and make salt. He was inspired by the idea of ​​Celtic hue and hazel fires to heat pots and make salt shakers and decided to create his new company, Cornish Sea Salt.
