Kurayoshi Pure Malt Whisky is one of the first Japanese small-scale craft (or Ji) whiskies to be released in Australia. Created in the shadow of Mt Daisen, at the Matsui Distillery, Kurayoshi benefits from the mountain’s crystal clear waters and the distillery’s 108 years of production experience to craft a superb Japanese whisky. Aged for more than 3 years in ex-bourbon barrels, Kurayoshi Pure Malt has a soft malt aroma that is fragrant and refreshing. Flavors of raisins, nuts, and vanilla, are balanced by a tartness and sweetness that harmoniously spreads throughout the mouth.
