Sherwood Estate Signature Family Chardonnay 750ml

Vinified with carefully selected grapes from two vineyards, Stirling and Glasnevin, Waipara, North Canterbury District, not far from Christchurch, South Island, New Zealand. The grapes are machine-harvested in mid-April when they are in very good condition and kept with the skins on for a short period. They are then carefully pressed and matured for 6 months in barrels (75%) and stainless steel tanks (25%). The wine is then blended with grapes harvested from each vineyard and lightly fined and filtered before bottling.

Elegantly flavoured, fermented in French oak. Smooth and full-bodied, with ripe stone fruit and pink grapefruit aromatic nuances, beautifully integrated with soft oak notes. Elegant and long finish.

Serve with white meats and cream sauce-based dishes.
