St. Johns Road Peace of Eden Riesling comes from the cooler climate of the lush Eden Valley, a legendary sub-region of the Barossa. The winemakers really do leave this wine alone and let the quality of the grapes speak for themselves. The grapes themselves come from two different blocks, both extremely low production, but both on the eastern side of the valley. This area is more conducive to making a good riesling to the elevation and cool conditions. Smells like a bouquet of fresh flowers on the nose followed by cut-up granny smith's. On the lips, it has a real zing. Orange & lemon notes really complement the natural sweetness of the Riesling grape. Enjoy with grilled seafood or a fresh green salad.
