Diemersfontein The Original Pinotage is a red wine from the Western Cape region of South Africa. It is produced by the Diemersfontein Wine Estate, which was founded in the early 2000s.

The wine is made from 100% Pinotage grapes, which are a signature grape variety of South Africa. The grapes are harvested by hand and undergo a careful selection process before being fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature.

The Original Pinotage is aged for 6-8 months in French and American oak barrels, which gives it a complex aroma and flavour profile. On the nose, it has notes of black fruit, chocolate, and coffee, while on the palate it is full-bodied with a good balance of acidity and tannins.
