From the 2015 vintage, the Argentine Malbec is made from a blend of old vines from two iconic Catena Zapata family vineyards: Nicasia and Angélica. Each parcel is harvested individually, at its optimum point, and vinified separately. It is an extraordinary wine, which earned 95 points from Robert Parker, for whom it is very expressive, and which in the glass "kept growing and growing, getting more focused and even fresher". The Argentine Malbec was created by Nicolás Catena Zapata and in its very first vintage (2004) it scored 98+ from Wine Advocate. A true icon, it is undoubtedly one of Argentina's greatest Malbec reds.
