Antinori Peppoli Chianti Classico Red Wine 750ml

The vineyards of the Pèppoli estate are located 5 kilometres northeast of Antinori’s Tignanello estate in the Chianti Classico region of Tuscany. The estate has 50 hectares (123 acres) of vines from which it produces the Pèppoli Chianti Classico DOCG red wine. Péppoli was first produced in 1985 and since 2013 a part of the crop has been fermented and aged in the Antinori Chianti Classico cellars. Ruby red in colour Pèppoli Chianti Classico offers intense fruity notes of cherries and red currants on the nose along with integrated hints of violets and a light touch of toasted oak. The palate is fresh and savoury with supple tannins.
