Between the Wairau and Awatere winegrowing valleys of Marlborough lies The Pass. We carefully select fruit from both valleys to showcase the best flavour characteristics Marlborough wines have to offer. Fruit from the Wairau Valley, with its cool, dry climate, combined with that from the Awatere Valley, with a cooler, windier climate, results in the distinct and unforgettable vibrant fruit flavours only found in New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc.

We are focused on preserving both varietal character and regional accuracy in all of our wines. Our winemaking regime has evolved to emphasize the inherent freshness, balance and structure of our fruit. After harvest, the white grapes are gently pressed, fermented and aged in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks to ensure freshness, bright aromatics, lush textures and balance.
