Future Explorers Perseverance Mars Rover

Curiosity and Perseverance are two of the most successful Mars vehicles developed by NASA and JPL. To avoid obstacles on the Red Planet, NASA engineers developed a unique suspension system called the Rocker-Bogie mechanism. As part of this experiment, children will assemble a full Perseverance rover, in particular, the rocker-bogie mechanism, to understand its advantages for manoeuvring on unprepared surfaces. With this project, children will learn robotics, mobility systems, electrical connections, and transmission systems, among other disciplines.
