The whisky is dark amber in colour.

The whisky has a full-bodied, sweet taste with notes of crème brûlée, vanilla, caramel, a touch of rye, nuts, burnt sugar, black chocolate, and aftertaste with bitter and dry notes.

The whisky has a strong aroma with notes of wood, vanilla, caramel, almonds, and fruit, with hints of apricot and cocoa.

Enogastronomy

Woodford Reserve is recommended to be consumed pure with ice or with the addition of a small amount of water. The bourbon is wonderful as a digestif. Woodford Reserve can also be a great ingredient for making cocktails.
