The Illusionist Dry Gin 500ml (Agent Stock)

The illusionist Gin holds a secret.... whilst upon pouring it is a deep blue colour, add tonic and before your eyes it will change colour, becoming a gentle pink colour. This is where the name of the gin comes from.

Taking inspiration from around the world this gin is floral and fruity. A total of 16 botanicals are used in the creation of this gin, juniper (inherent in all gins), earthy and warming nutmeg, citrus fruits, angelica and cardamom, chamomile, lavender and liquorice root, mace and rosemary to name some of them. There is attention to detail in the sourcing and creation of this gin - with all the botanicals being certified organic - as well as the base alcohol too.

The secret botanical from the far east (with a gentle, nutty aroma) is what ensures the change of colour. Add an acidic fruity mixer, or good tonic and the change will occur.

The gin is distilled in a pot still, and bottled in black, art-nouveau-style bottles.

The gin has a floral delicate aroma, with a hint of juniper. The taste has a mild pepper note to it, which gives way to the more floral notes of lavender and angelica. Towards the end, fruity citrus notes come through from orange and grapefruit.
