Nikka Taketsuru 21 Years Limited 80th Aniversary Edition Pure Malt Blended Whisky 700ml

A limited edition bottling of Nikka's 21-year-old Taketsuru blended pure malt whisky to celebrate the 80th Anniversary of Nikka and an exclusive release for the European market in a limited edition of only 546 bottles. The Taketsuru 21-year-old Madeira Wood Finish is a limited version of the famous Nikka's blended malt coming from the Yoichi and Miyagikyo distillery, which has the distinction of having been finished in Madeira wine casks. During refining, the Taketsuru 21-year-old will be strongly influenced by the work of the Madeira wines previously contained in the drums, enriching the flavour profile, the texture and the whisky colour.

In addition to its rich original aromas ranging from floral notes such as lily and hyacinth to creamy notes of chocolate and praline, this Taketsuru finished in Madeira wine casks offers fruity lemon confit, orange bitter, red fruits and dried fruits, left in the oak by the wine of the Portuguese archipelago.

A special whisky by Nikka for connoisseurs, collectors and lovers, which was gold awarded several times at the World Whiskies Awards in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2012 and 2015 and has been chosen several times as World's Best Blended Malt Whisky and thus represents the top of blended malt whiskies. Here is one of the few bottles of the limited edition for the 80th anniversary of the Nikka distilleries, which sold out within a very short time and is now one of the most sought-after whiskies from Japan.
