Isle of Jura 18 YO Red Wine Cask 700ml

This 18-year-old combination of peated and unpeated distillate is aged in former bourbon barrels made of American white oak. It is further refined by finishing the ageing process in Premier Grand Cru Bordeaux barrels. These French red wine casks previously contained premium Bordeaux wine from top vineyard sites and provide the difference in the Isle Of Jura 18 Years Whisky compared to other whiskies with a sherry cask finish.

The Isle of Jura Single Malt Whisky finds its origin near Scotland's west coast. The small picturesque island of Jura is home to less than 200 inhabitants and has been home to the Jura Distillery since 1963. The distillery added to its portfolio in 2018 with the Seven Wood, Journey, 12 Years, 10 Years and 18 Years Scotch Whisky Editions.
