Billecart-Salmon Brut Rose Champagne 750ml

It is brut rosé champagne made from the 3 dominant grape varieties of the Champagne region: Chardonnay grape variety for 40% of the superb Marne vintages, 30% Pinot Noir grape variety of the characteristic crus of the Montagne de Reims and the Grande Marne Valley vinified in red, 30% Pinot Meunier grape from the Marne Valley and South Coteaux d'Epernay vintages.

After the harvest, the wine is perfect in bottles on lees for at least 24 months in deep cellars.

The colour is pale partridge eye pink with some shimmering gold reflections.

On the nose: a fine bouquet of notes of white flowers and small red fruits such as wild strawberries, pigeon heart cherry or spring baguette strawberries with a zest of citrus fruits. On the palate, the berries are even more present with touches of lychee and bergamot from southern Italy.

A successful aperitif with sushi, smoked salmon makis, on oysters from Marennes-Oléron or Belon.

Splendid on a tart with red spring fruits or summer fruits such as plums.
