Tanglin Singapore Gin 700ml

The creators of Tanglin Gin (Tim Whitefield, Andy Hodgson, Charlie van Eeden and Chris Box) created their gin in 2017. They were surprised to find out that they had created the first Singaporean Gin (the range of rich culinary influences, and drinks in the area meant they felt it should have happened a lot sooner!)

They wanted this gin to capture the spirit of the pioneers behind Singapore. So they took the flavours which were cultivated or brought to the Singapore shores - young ginger, dried chilli seeds, orange peels, kafir lime and liquorice powder. Tanglin Gin was born... and captures these flavours perfectly.

This is a gin which has fresh natural sweet mandarin citrus characters as well as a hint of orange blossom and the kaffir lime. It is the Kaffir Lime which comes through first on the front palate, where it is then joined by sweet mandarin orange citrus and just a hint of ginger on the middle palate.

Towards the end, young ginger, as well as Kampot Pepper flavours, develop, which combine with chilli to give a hint of warmth that lingers but doesn’t burn.
