The Cosimo Collezione Privata Negroamaro del Salento from the pen of Varvaglione from Apulia shows a dense, purple color in the glass. also shows a coloured transition to garnet red. If one swings the glass, then this red wine reveals a high density and fullness, which shows up in church windows at the edge of the glass. The nose of this red wine from Apulia delights with hints of blackberry, black cherry, mulberry and plum. If we trace the aromatics further, gingerbread spice, toasted barrel and black tea come through, aided by the oak influence.
