The Ashmead Family began their wine adventure when they purchased the Elderton Estate in 1979 and then first released wines from it in 1982. Today, Elderton is run by second-generation brothers Cameron and Allister, and together they work to uphold the values and traditions that were originally set by their parents - while also staying true to great Australian winemaking history. They intend to produce a deliciously rich, balanced and uncomplicated Chardonnay from vineyards scattered around the Barossa.
