Rochefort Trappistes 6

The first brew of the Rochefort Abbey, Rochefort 6 is the lightest of the three Rochefort Trappist beers but is no less flavoursome. This rich mahogany-brown Belgian Dubbel is full of warm orange, apple, strawberry, pear, and banana fruit tones with soft, smooth and sweet brown sugar notes that fill the palate with a full body of earthy, herbal and tea-like flavours. A refined, mild spiciness and a hint of caramel can be found in its generous alcohol character that makes this dark ale sumptuous and one of a kind. With a complex profile of dark fruits, malt sweetness and earthy oak, the Rochefort 6 is best enjoyed in a glass.
