-Ponni Rice is a variety of Rice cultivated in Southern India. - Ponni literally means Gold in Tamil and also refers to River Kaveri. - Parboiled Rice is steamed before milling and is partially boiled in the husk. - Specially picked and packed for Singapore - Premium and superior quality Country/place of Origin India Preparation PRE COOKING, Rinse the rice thoroughly. Soak the rice for 30 minutes in lukewarm water prior to cooking. OPEN PAN, Use 5 cups of water for 1 cup of rice. CLOSED PAN, Use 2 cups of water for 1 cup of rice. Storage Store in cool dry place away from sunlight. Once opened store in a air-tight container Ingredients Ponni Rice.
