Vintage characteristics
A very promising vintage thanks to a particularly favourable climate for the production of wines with a highly aromatic profile. A mild winter was followed by heavy rainfall in the spring and summer, especially in May and June, with significant day-night temperature fluctuations. These factors, combined with constant and beneficial breezes that helped to avert pests and disease, laid the basis for a longer and ideal ripening period in terms of quality. The harvest, which turned out to be one of the latest ever, took place between mid- September and early October and delivered healthy grapes, with excellent acidity and a rich spectrum of aromas. Vintage 2016 promises to be amongst the most memorable vintages.

Tasting notes
A brilliant pale yellow colour with a fine, persistent perlage. On the nose it unveils an intense fruity bouquet of apple, pear, citrus and pleasant white flowers. This wine is medium-bodied with a lovely freshness.

Food pairings
Pairs well with sushi, Catalan style lobster, and shellfish in general, salmon marinated with dill, couscous with oriental flavours, Venetian style liver and artichokes.
Best served at 10°C (50°F).
