Moet & Chandon Grand Vintage Rose 2015

The year 2015 brings us the 45th Grand Vintage Rosé in the history of Moet & Chandon. The hot and dry year with just the right amount of rain in late summer produced fantastic Pinot Noir harvests, so the decision was made to create this vintage cuvée. Redcurrants, both red and black, dominate the bouquet , followed by small, firm strawberries, a hint of fig, and a piquant peppery note. A hint of blue blossoms interwoven throughout. Concentrated and dense on the palate, it's almost opulent. Yet with a clean and firm structure , a fine and lingering perlage. The delicate tannins provide a slight astringency, stimulating the appetite. Why not try it with a veal fillet?
