Add 2 cups of GEMINI MURUKKU FLOUR to 1 1/2 cups of cold water or fresh coconut milk.
Mix well into a thick paste.
Heat coconut oil in a frying pan and using a murukku mould, gently press the content into the oil.
Fry till murukku turns light golden brown. If desired add a little sesame or cumin seeds.
Murukku flour is made by grinding dry rice flour along with dry urad dal flour. The packed flour is then mixed with water, salt, asafetida, and sesame seeds. The mixture is then kneaded into Murukku dough. By using Murukku mould, the dough is deep-fried spirally in oil to get Murukku.
