Chang Thai Organic White Glutinous Rice

Glutinous rice has a lower amylose content than long grain rice and more amylopectin, making it stickier and better for making into onigiri (shaped Japanese rice balls). It is the main rice used in Laos, Cambodia and because it sticks together may be eaten by hand. Its sweet flavour lends itself to desserts and cakes.
