Balvenie Doublewood 12 Years Old is a single malt whiskey that has been given its individual character by ageing in two types of casks. During maturation, the whiskey moves from traditional oak casks to sherry casks. Ageing in traditional barrels gives the drink a soft character, and sherry barrels give depth and fullness of taste.

Each bottle of whiskey is unique, with the aim of more thorough quality control, Balvenie is produced in limited quantities.

Colour: Whiskey golden amber colour.

Taste: Whiskey has a bright, soft, sweet taste with hints of cinnamon, a hint of nutty sweetness and a delicate hint of sherry. The finish is long and warm.

Aroma: Whiskey has an original sweetish aroma.
