Martell Noblige Cognac is named after the old French saying, 'Noblesse Oblige'. Translated to ‘nobility obligates’, it calls on the responsibilities which come with wealth and power; a suitable reference for a dignified and sophisticated Cognac. Delightfully fruity on the palate, this Napoléon blend contains Cognacs aged 10 years or more, incorporating a greater share of eaux-de-vie from the Borderies region for a floral aroma.

The oldest of the great Cognac houses, the House of Martell celebrated its 300th anniversary in 2015. Aged only 21 when he started, founder Jean Martell built his family home and business on the banks of the Charente River where it still stands today. Martell Cognac has always attracted people of extravagant tastes, counting George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, Napoleon Bonaparte, Tsar Nicholas II, and Winston Churchill among its fans - fine company indeed for such a noble brand.
