The Ashaway Powernick 18 is one of the better known squash strings. The very strong monofilament Zyex core is very durable, the outer jacket is a woven, wear-resistant nylon with texture, so you have extra grip on the squash ball.

Because the Ashaway Powernick is so durable, the Ashaway Powernick is a tough string that is not suitable for players with, for example, arm complaints. QSS therefore always advises to string 1 to 1.5 kg less than you are used to with a multifilament string.
