C-BEAR (Ceramic BEARings) Bottom brackets are available with 2 different ceramic bearing types. The Race bottom bracket bearings are designed for low rolling resistance and are intended for use on dry roads. In a study carried out by the independent Friction Facts Laboratory, they were ranked top 3 in terms of bottom bracket efficiency (the first place went to an unsealed bottom bracket for indoor use).

High Quality Bearing Cups
The bearing cups of the C-BEAR bearings are not made of plastic, but of CNC precision machined aluminium. C-BEAR committed itself to an anti-plastic posture very early on, in 2011/2012, when plastic additives were just coming into fashion. Metal housings mean higher accuracy, lower tolerances and the avoidance of flex and deformation.
